Dr. Carcasson has spent his career studying how communities can tackle complex “wicked problems” through better communication, collaboration, and citizen engagement. He is a professor at Colorado State University and founder of the Center for Public Deliberation, where he works to strengthen democracy by helping people find common ground on difficult issues.
