WHO THEY ARE. WHAT THEY’RE TRYING TO DO.
Yesterday, I took a few minutes to spotlight something I believe people should know about: The Good Trouble Squadron.
So who are they?
The Good Trouble Squadron is about bringing people together who are tired of simply watching what is happening in America and asking:
What can ordinary people actually DO?
The idea is inspired by the spirit of “good trouble”—peaceful civic engagement, speaking up, getting involved, helping communities and refusing to believe that one person can’t make a difference.
Their goal isn’t simply to complain about the problems.
It’s to organize, educate, connect and ACT.
That means encouraging people to become more involved in their communities, helping people understand the issues affecting them, supporting civic participation, and creating a place where individuals can turn frustration into constructive action.
You don’t have to be famous.
You don’t have to have a huge platform.
You don’t have to agree with everyone about everything.
You just have to be willing to SHOW UP.
This commercial introduces who the Good Trouble Squadron is, what they’re building, and why they believe grassroots involvement still matters.
Because change doesn’t always begin in Washington.
Sometimes it begins with a handful of people deciding:
WE’RE NOT JUST GOING TO WATCH.
WE’RE GOING TO GET INVOLVED.
